Arizona Workforce Connection hosting July job fair

The Arizona Workforce Connection will be hosting a job fair at Harrah’s Ak-Chin on July 22 for any Maricopa resident looking for work.

This will be the first job fair AWC is hosting in the city of Maricopa. They have conducted similar events around the state, including the Pinal County job fair in Casa Grande the last two years.

“We are hoping to get at least 40 employers,” Arizona Workforce Connection business service liaison Linda Martinez said. “We have 19 confirmed so far, and we are waiting to hear back from many more.”

Arizona Workforce Connection has reached out to a wide variety of employers, and they expect to have the openings filled by July. Employers are able to reserve a table for the event at no cost, and they have until July 10 to register.
