It’s a piece of American history resting in the middle of Maricopa.
The Silver Horizon – a passenger car part of the original California Zephyr train – sits next to the city’s Amtrak station near State Route 347 and Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway. On Saturday, the Maricopa Historical Society opened the car to the public.
