Tonight’s the night for the Baskin-Robbins 31 cent Scoop Night Fundraiser for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Baskin-Robbins and participating franchises will make a $100,000 donation to the national fund. “So, scoop up the goodwill.”

Locally, Michelle and Pat Koury’s Baskin-Robbins will honor those firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty across our nation. From 5-10 p.m. each 2.5-ounce scoop of ice cream will cost only 31 cents, plus tax if applicable.

According to Capt. Richard Jackson, Fire Department Maricopa firefighters will be on hand to scoop ice cream as their contribution to this national event to honor their comrades.
Have you ever wondered:

• Why does Baskin Robbins have 31 flavors? One for each day of the month!

• What are the top two selling flavors of ice cream? Pralines & Cream and Mint Chocolate Chip.

• Will you ever find Rum Raisin in an Arizona Baskin Robbins? Nope, Rum Raisin is only sold in the midwestern states.
