The Optimist Club of Maricopa’s Bike Rodeo on Oct. 18 was an opportunity for children in kindergarten through sixth grade to learn bike safety.
Members of the Maricopa Police department helped guide children through training.
Participants received a helmet and T-shirt after completing the course.
The local Optimist Club works with area agencies to serve children year around.
