No one was injured after a car flipped over on Smith-Enke Road near John Wayne Parkway this morning.

It was just before 8:30 a.m. when a black Chevrolet Spark crashed, deploying its airbags and rolling over onto its roof.

Maricopa Police Department and Maricopa Fire and Medical Department responded to the scene with police units, a fire truck and ambulance.

The female driver was safely pulled from the car uninjured.

The scene has been cleared, according to public safety spokesperson Monica Williams.

Westbound traffic is moving slowly.

It appears traffic stopped going westbound to allow a car to exit the CVS shopping center parking lot, Williams said.

That car crossed the lanes and collided with an eastbound traveler.

The speed of the car exiting the parking lot and the movement of the eastbound car appear to have caused the eastbound car to roll over.

All passengers could exit the vehicles on their own, with no injuries reported.
