In honor of Joe Jonas’ 23rd birthday, Joe and his parents Denise and Kevin Jonas sent cupcakes to the nurses and patients on the OB unit at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center, home of the Joe Jonas Nursery.

The card accompanying the cupcakes said, “Thank you for helping bring me into the world! Let’s celebrate my birthday! With love, Joe Jonas, and Kevin and Denise Jonas.”

The five dozen cupcakes were delivered by Sprinkles Cupcakes in Scottsdale and distributed to the patients by CGRMC President and CEO Rona Curphy. Each patient also received a birthday card from Joe and the hospital.

Joe was born at CGRMC on Aug. 15, 1989.

On Sept. 14, 2010, Casa Grande Regional Medical Center welcomed Joe to a dedication ceremony for The Joe Jonas Nursery. The nursery was named in Joe’s honor in recognition of his 21st birthday and his many accomplishments.

The Joe Jonas Nursery and the OB department at CGRMC brought 775 babies into the world during the last year. These babies benefitted from the bassinettes and monitoring equipment donated to the nursery by Joe in 2010.

Curphy noted, “We appreciate the partnership we have with Joe and his parents. We are honored that they took time to remember the nursery and the place where Joe was born on his special day. We wish Joe a very happy birthday, as well as a happy anniversary to Kevin and Denise since he was born on the same day.
