Charity golf tournament for MPD, MFD this month

A golf tournament to benefit Maricopa Police Department and City of Maricopa Fire Department is set for Oct. 30 at The Duke with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

This event will benefit the Maricopa Police K9 Unit and the Maricopa Fire “restoration of the old 1949 fire engine” project. Cost is $75 per player and includes golf and food. (Saguaro membership rates apply so check with the pro shop).

If you have a group you would like to play with, please advise the pro shop and try and submit payment together.

There will be a silent auction.  All proceeds are split equally between the Maricopa Police and Maricopa Fire. Any
silent auction items would be greatly appreciated.

If you are interested in sponsoring a hole, the cost is $150 and also will be equally split between the projects.
