The city added another big-name artist to its music festival lineup next month.

Country singer and rapper Uncle Kracker has been tapped in to headline Maricopa’s inaugural Wild West Music Fest in a month.

Uncle Kracker will perform Oct. 15 after four other artists who were announced earlier this month. He is known for some chart-topping hits like “Follow Me” and “Drift Away.”

The family-friendly festival, hosted by the city of Maricopa and Steven Levine Entertainment, will take place Oct. 13-15 at Copper Sky Park. In addition to music, food trucks and vendors will sell treats and souvenirs for attendees.

Tickets range from $5 to $300.

The whole affair celebrates the 20th anniversary of Maricopa’s incorporation as a city.
