Why you moved to Maricopa: The first day I came to Maricopa, I felt connected. I recognized that I could live in a more sustainable manner; I found a family of experiences and insights of individuals and the potential for being a community that resonated with my mantra – life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness – it was an inspiration for care and healing; looking at the beautiful night sky; hearing the sound of crickets; sleeping with my windows open at night; my house unlocked. Wow!
