City provides disposal site for damaged trees, limbs

July brought Maricopa its share of monsoon activity, coupled with some strong winds.

If you have trees and/or tree limbs damaged during the recent storms, the city’s Public Works division and Senior Code Compliance Officer Brian Duncan have found a location for disposal of them.

The drop-off location, which opened Saturday, is at the northeast corner of Honeycutt Road and state Route 347 near the PCSO substation. The site will be marked with a Copa Cares sign near the large, red dumpster.

According to Duncan, the drop-off location will be available to residents until the end of the monsoon season.

For further information, contact Duncan at 520-494-2393.
