Coffee and cookbooks available Tuesday at Maricopa’s library

The weather has gotten cooler, and that signals the resumption of the Maricopa Friends of the Library’s “Coffee on the Porch” weekly coffee get togethers.

Every Tuesday morning, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., the Friends are on the porch at the library with coffee, treats and conversation. The first coffee will be held on October 31.

Copies of the Friends’ newly published cookbook, “Home Cookin’ from Maricopa,” will also be available Tuesday for $15. The three-ring binder cookbook contains over 400 recipes from local cooks. All proceeds from cookbook sales will go toward the support of the library and its programs.
