On Saturday, July 18, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church is sponsoring a blood drive from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at Maricopa Wells Middle School, 45725 W. Honeycutt Ave.
United Blood Services (UBS) will collect the blood. Prior to giving blood, donors are asked about their medical history and current health and then have their temperature, blood pressure, pulse and blood hemoglobin levels checked.
“We do need your support, especially in the summer months,” said event organizer Jack Mullins.
