The non-profit Desert Sun Performing Arts Gems is once again hosting Maricopa’s annual citywide Daddy-Daughter Dance 4 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Maricopa Elementary School multi-purpose room, 18150 N. Alterra Parkway.
Girls, ages 2-18, are invited to have that special man in their lives — a dad, uncle, grandfather or friend — escort them in semi-formal or formal attire.
Admission is $20 per couple, plus $5 for each additional daughter, and includes an Italian-themed dinner prepared by professional chefs Jay Yilgic and Mark Gentilella, a professional photo captured by Jake Johnson Photography, music by Desert Music Entertainment, and desserts prepared by the DSPA Gems Moms.
An auction will include: Disneyland 1-day park hopper tickets; a Caswells Shooting Range membership; Baseline Reserve Diamondback tickets; Cardinals merchandise; Suns game tickets with Shannon Brown autographed ball; Firebird International Raceway Monster Truck tickets; Arizona Science Center tickets; Arizona Museum for the Youth tickets; Desert Botanical tickets’ Phoenix Zoo tickets; and front row tickets to DSPA’s annual dance recital.
