Maricopa’s Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Commander Dean Wyse was promoted to District 10 Commander in a swearing-in ceremony during the district meeting held at the Coolidge VFW.
Wyse replaced Jerry Miller of the Casa Grande VFW as the new district leader April 15. Wyse will take charge in June.
Maricopa’s VFW is the newest post in District 10, which covers northern Pinal County and Chandler.
New officer are elected to their posts annually.
