Florida real estate developer WMG Development proposes building a new dental office in paperwork obtained by InMaricopa this week.
The developer left much to the imagination, filing only a concept plan and a land title survey. Those plans depict a 4,200-square-foot dental office sitting at the southwest end of the Stonegate retail hub, touching Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway to the southwest and an upcoming build-to-rent community to the west.
The clinic is proposed for a corner unit on 1½ acres next door to a business labeled “Oil Express” in the plans. Planned for units further down that retail strip are the city’s second standalone Starbucks and Someburros.
The parcel is also part of a replat request to increase the number of lots from three to four in that area. The issue will be up for approval before the Maricopa City Council on Tuesday.
WMG Development partners with Heartland Dental, according to its portfolio, and brought at least two dental clinics to Arizona. This includes Gavilan Peak Dental Care in Anthem and 83rd Marketplace Dental Care in Peoria, both of which are part of the Heartland Dental network.
Maricopa currently has 14 dental clinics throughout the city. This would be the third in the Stonegate/Wells area.
