The public is invited to play in a shotgun event of four-person scramble teams Saturday at The Duke at Rancho El Dorado with half the proceeds to be donated to the families of the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots killed June 30 fighting the Yarnell Fire.
The entry fee is $25, which includes tax, green and cart fees, and range balls before the round. Registration and check-in are 6:30 a.m.; tee time is 7 a.m.
The Duke also will accept donations during the event from members of the public.
The golf course is at 42660 Rancho El Dorado Parkway.
