Sixty-seven percent of the 194 respondents to the Feb. 10-17 poll question on the city’s mail-in ballot said they will vote in the city council and mayoral election.

The Pinal County Recorder’s Office started sending out ballots this week for the March 13 primary. Ballots must be back to the county recorder’s office by 7 p.m. that day. The county offices in Casa Grande, 820 E. Cottonwood Lane, will be open until 7 p.m. March 13 to accommodate voters hand-delivering ballots.

Twenty-one percent, or 40 people, said they aren’t planning on voting; 4 percent, or seven people, said they weren’t sure if they will vote; and 9 percent, or 17 respondents, said they don’t live in city limits.
