Santa’s helpers have been working hard to create a unique, fun, and quality family entertainment experience in Maricopa; escape rooms! Locally owned and family operated, Great Escape Maricopa opens THIS Friday, Dec. 7, to the general public, located at the Stagestop Marketplace, 44301 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.

The first room open is themed from Santa’s Study, with the goal of saving Christmas Spirit! This room is easy to medium in difficulty to accommodate families who want to have holiday activities to share with their children. An escape room is a terrific alternative to dinner and a movie date-nights or to entertain your holiday guests without driving to Chandler! Into the New Year, the establishment will be developing new rooms on a rotating schedule offering exciting and challenging puzzles with varying levels of difficulty for novice and tenured escapers alike.

This last weekend, Great Escape Maricopa opened its doors to Pet Social Worker’s 10th annual Pet Photos with Santa! Pet lovers were able to get a sneak-peak of the rooms while getting their fur-babies (including a goat) photographed with Santa for the holidays. The event attracted 40 families and raised nearly $1,000 for the local non-profit.

Escape rooms will be available on a first come, first served, pre-booked basis. Since the rooms have an hour maximum completion time, rooms will be booked in advance to avoid long wait times. Prices range from $20-25 per person participating in these exciting brainteasers.
