Maricopa Memorial Events presents the annual Veterans Day 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk at Pacana Park Nov. 9

A Pancake Breakfast is 6:30-10:30 a.m. Cost is $5. Flag-raising is at 6:50 a.m. The 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk begin at 7 a.m. and will end in time to see the annual Veterans Day Parade on Porter Road.

Register for the run/walk at MMEINC.org. On-site registration is also available. Proceeds benefit Maricopa police and fire, Maricopa Veterans Center and youth scholarships.
