The Maricopa Police Department today promoted officers Leonard Perez, Edward Alameda, Stephen Judd and Kelly Hiett to the rank of sergeant.
They will help supervise the graveyard shift which started Jan. 1, and assist as sworn police supervisors in other units within the Department, a city official reported. Judd is the spokesman for the department.
The city announced the promotions last week, but did not reveal to the media the names of those moving up the ranks until today’s ceremony.
