Few people can say they have won a blue ribbon at the fair.

Pinal County wants to give everyone a chance to be able to make that statement following this year’s event March 26 to March 30 at the Pinal County Fair Fairgrounds, 512 S. Eleven Mile Corner Road in Casa Grande.

“It’s time to Go Hog Wild at the fair and unleash your inner competitor,” a county spokesperson said in a media release. “With hundreds of categories to choose from, there is truly a place for everyone’s hobby, talent or passion.”

Baking, woodworking, photography, quilting, painting, crafting and even collecting are just some of the areas open for entries.

Details including rules, deadlines and entry forms are available in the 2008 Pinal County Fair Exhibitor Handbook which are available at local chambers of commerce, the fair office or online at www.pinalcountyfair.com. Official entry forms must be postmarked by March 15 or faxed no later than 5 p.m. March 17. See the fair handbook for details.
