“Good Neighbor” Lance Lane hosting blood drive Saturday

Local State Farm agent Lance Lane will host a community blood drive on Saturday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., outside his office in the Fry’s Marketplace Center.

Co-sponsored by the Card Corner, Sunrise Café and Teakwood’s, the event will be held in the parking lot in front of these local businesses. Parents are invited to bring their children since coloring books and water bottles will be available.

Lane, who opened his insurance office in September 2005, sees the blood drive as a community service. “Being a State Farm agent presents the opportunity to help people protect themselves and their families…,” Lane said at a previously hosted blood drive.

The American Red Cross blood mobile will be taking donations for much-needed blood. For appointments or additional information, contact the State Farm office at 520-568-8400.
