Desert Sun Performing Arts will host its second annual Easter Charity Event to benefit Chandler Regional Hospital from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Desert Sun Performing Arts, 19756 N. John Wayne Parkway.
This year’s event will include free pictures with the Easter bunny for every donation of a new stuffed animal. Event organizers request guests to leave the tags intact and will not accept toys without them. The group will distribute the plush toys to the children at the hospital during the Easter holiday.
Desert Sun Performing Arts representatives said they are committed to teaching the value of giving to their students by supporting family charities such as Against Abuse, the Maricopa Fire Department’s toy drive and many others. For information call (520) 483-8915.
