Harrah’s celebrates grand opening of new poker room

Harrah’s Phoenix Ak Chin Casino invites players to their new, state-of-the-art poker room. The new poker room is designed to enhance the professional gaming experience. Harrah’s included features such as 11 flat screen televisions to monitor tournaments, the players’ board and both local and national sporting events coverage.

To kick off the grand opening, we will offer World Series of Poker (WSOP) qualifying tournaments to be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the month of June. Tuesday’s tournament is a $65 buy in with two $25 re-buys; the winner receives a seat in the WSOP $1500 event of their choice.

On Wednesdays there is a $75 buy with two $25 re-buys. Winner wins a seat in the WSOP $2,000 Omaha Hi-Lo event on July 3. The Thursday event is for the ladies. Join us on June 24 when poker celebrities Robert Williamson,III, Cyndy Violette and Grey Raymer will play alongside tournament participants for a $10,000 seat at the World Series of Poker Texas Hold-em Final at the Rio on July 28. Buy in is $300.00. Seats are on sale now in the poker room.
