Harrah’s recognizes ‘exceptional’ employees

Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino is pleased to announce its 2014 Chairman’s Award winners, a distinction given to employees who demonstrate the best customer service and serve as role models for co-workers and the Maricopa community alike.

“We are so proud to have such exceptional employees who demonstrate the qualities we hold high by giving generously of their time and dedication, strengthening our communities and brightening the lives of the people who live here,” Robert Livingston, vice president/general manager at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino, said in a press release. “I extend my sincerest thanks and congratulations to all of this year’s winners for all they do and how they represent the Harrah’s brand.”

The 2014 winners are:

·         Integrity: Mikel McBride, surveillance supervisor

·         Service with Passion: Lucero Cano, casino cashier

·         Celebrating Success: JoAnne McQueen, beverage supervisor

·         Caring Culture: Lauren Conley, employee engagement specialist

·         Rigor: Mary Copelan, purchasing coordinator

·         Diversity: Sharon Crane, total rewards/casino cage manager

Each of the Chairman’s Award winners will be honored at a celebration banquet with a commemorative gift, and a dedicated parking space for the year. They will continue on to be considered for the Division Chairman’s Award and those winners qualify to be considered for the company-wide Chairman’s’ Award.
