1 shopper saves gift-buying ’til Christmas Day

Most Maricopa shoppers responding to a poll on when they prefer to do their holiday shopping get the job done between Thanksgiving and Christmas – so said 94 of 182 respondents.

One person admitted to shopping on Christmas Day.

Forty respondents said they shop throughout the year, which may be more in keeping with the rest of the nation because according to a story on Huffingtonpost.com as many as 63 percent of holiday shoppers started by the first of November, with 30 percent starting before Halloween.

However, 31 poll-takers said “Bah humbug! I don’t buy gifts.” (We hope we’re not related to any of these people).

Sixteen respondents said they shop either on Black Friday or Christmas Eve, eight each.

Whatever your shopping habits, or those of the ones you love, we at InMaricopa.com wish everyone gift-buying and gift-getting success and wish everyone a merry holiday season.
