Holiday lights winners announced

Christmas will be a little bit brighter, literally, for seven Maricopa homeowners. The winners of the 5th Annual Holiday Homes on Parade Contest were announced this week. The lights, decorations, and themes dazzled the judges. Congratulations go out to the following winners:

Best Use of Color – The Lindsay’s – #34 – 42858 W. Estrada St.
Residents’ Choice – Kathy and Rick Baylor – #26 – 37894 W. Olivo St.
Hall of Fame – Kevin and Melissa Smarik – #24 – 45154 W. Yucca Lane

Holiday Homes on Parade, sponsored by the city’s community services department, is in its fifth year. The winners received $500 for Best on Parade and $300 for Residents’ Choice. Winners in the other four categories received $100 each.
