Freeway-improvement projects will require closures or lane restrictions of Interstate 10 in the Chandler area this weekend. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time or consider alternate routes while the following scheduled weekend restrictions are in place:
• Westbound I-10 narrowed to one lane between Wild Hose Pass Boulevard and Queen Creek Road for freeway widening work from 9 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday.
• Eastbound I-10 narrowed to one lane between Wild Horse Pass Boulevard and Queen Creek Road for freeway widening work from 9 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday.
• Westbound I-10 narrowed to one lane between Queen Creek Road and Wild Horse Pass Boulevard for freeway improvements from 9 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.
