Kites, fire fighters and reptiles all available for kids this Saturday

Have a free weekend coming up? Consider a Saturday activity sponsored by the city of Maricopa.

The city’s Parks and Recreation Department is still accepting registration for the following special activities and classes:

Fly a Kite:
Decorate your own kite and then fly it.
Sept. 27 at 10 a.m.

Reptile Adventure:
An incredible display of rare and unusual reptiles from around the world.
Sept. 27 at 2 p.m. (ages 3-7) and 3:30 p.m. (ages 8 and up)

Fire Safety Class:
A station tour, combined with an up-close look at the fire truck, will give your child an introduction to station life and the daily duties of a fire fighter
Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. (ages 5-10)
