Larkin to seek re-election as county assessor

    Pinal County Assessor L. Paul Larkin has announced that he will seek a seventh term for the position as the Democratic Party nominee.

    First elected in 1985, he is certified as an appraiser by the International Association of Assessing Officials and the Arizona Department of Revenue.

    Larkin is a past President of the Arizona Association of Counties and twice President of the Arizona Association of Assessing Officials.

    “Pinal County was a small rural county when I first took office,” Larkin said. “I am proud of the advances in technology we have been able to put in place without using Pinal County tax dollars.”

    The Pinal County Assessor’s office is considered one of the nation’s leaders in Workflow technology using software developed specifically for Pinal County by a private contractor.

    Larkin has lived in Casa Grande since 1964. He and his wife Cheryl Larkin have two children and four grandchildren.
