Legacy Traditional School is holding an employment fair.

On Thursday, May 7, from 5-8 p.m. the school will be interviewing and taking applications for the following certified positions:

K-6 general education and music
7-9 science, math and music
Special education

Classified positions are also open for resource aides, janitorial, maintenance and cafeteria staff as well as a health assistant. An application can be downloaded here.

When Legacy opens its doors for the first day of school on August 25, it will be a K-9 facility. Ninth graders will be enrolled for the first time as Legacy Lions for the fall session.

In addition, Legacy, with campuses in both Maricopa and Casa Grande, hopes to be in its new buildings. The campus in Maricopa will be just off Bowlin Road.

The free, public charter school provides small class sizes and a back to the basics curriculum. According to the Web site, instruction also focuses on patriotism and character building as well as a positive discipline program.
