Amber Liermann won election to Maricopa City Council while Jeff McClure was elected Pinal County supervisor in District 4.

Here’s the current picture in city, county, state and federal races in Tuesday’s general election.

The Pinal County Elections Department said Wednesday morning that 41,000 early ballots and 1,800 provisional ballots still have to be counted. An update is not expected until Thursday, and it is unknown how many of those ballots are from Maricopa.

The numbers for state legislature, Arizona Corporation Commission and federal races are reported by the Secretary of State’s Office, with 99 percent of precincts reporting.

All vote tallies are unofficial.

Amber Liermann has won the runoff election for a seat on Maricopa City Council, defeating Andre LaFond.

In the contest for three seats on the Maricopa Unified School District Governing Board, all three incumbents – Torri Anderson, AnnaMarie Knorr and Jim Jordan – were returned by the voters. Tracie Armstead-Payton finished just two votes behind Jordan, which is likely to trigger an automatic recount under state law.

Proposition 452, which asked Maricopans if they wanted to give Southwest Gas Corp. a 25-year franchise, passed easily.

In the contest for Pinal County supervisor in District 4, Republican Jeff McClure defeated Independent Marlene Pearce, a Maricopa resident.

In the race for state Senate in District 11, Republican incumbent Vince Leach has taken a lead over Democratic challenger JoAnna Mendoza.

In the race for two seats in state House District 11, Republican incumbents Bret Roberts and Mark Finchem lead Democratic challenger Felipe Perez.

For the three open seats on the five-member Arizona Corporation Commission, Democrat Anna Tovar, Republican incumbent Lea Marquez Peterson and Republican James O’Connor were leading Democrats William Mundell, Republican Eric Sloan and Democrat Shea Stanfield.
