Maricopa Chamber of Commerce launches ‘Buy Maricopa’

Maricopa Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the development and distribution of the Buy Maricopa discount card.

This card will make its debut at the fifth annual Founders Day celebration. The celebration is to take place on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Pacana Park, 19000 Porter Road in Maricopa.

Founders Day is a free, community-based event that hosts a $1,000 BBQ and Chili Cook-off, the largest Kidz Zone ever to hit Maricopa, stage performers, a Beer Garden and over 100 vendors, made up of Chamber businesses and organizations that will provide giveaways and information to all attendees. As part of the celebration there will be live music from LIFEHOUSE and a special fireworks show to conclude the evening.

The Buy Maricopa card will allow any individual to receive a special discount or incentive offered by participating Chamber of Commerce member businesses. This card will educate the community on the importance of supporting the local businesses here in Maricopa.

The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce encourages all member businesses to take part in the success of this card by engaging the community in their product and/or service and taking advantage of the citywide marketing that will increase revenue for the city and in turn improve the health of all local businesses.
