A cast of more than 80 children – ages 5-14 – will stage a musical version of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Emperor’s New Clothes” 7 p.m. tonight and 2 p.m. Saturday at the Maricopa High School Performing Arts Center.
Tickets for the Maricopa Children’s Theatre production are $6 and are available at the door or online at TicketRiver.com/event/7745-the-emperor’s-new-clothes.
Maricopa Children’s Theatre offers children and preteens a way to learn about and explore the performing arts. Amber Duve, director and Maricopa native, has been teaching theater classes in Maricopa for six years.
