School has been out for nearly a month, and many Maricopa children may be missing their friends.
If that’s the case, Maricopa Community Church will be providing free, fun activities at its Vacation Bible School from July 14-18 from 9 a.m.until noon daily at 44977 W. Hathaway.
Children from age 4 to those in sixth-grade can attend the weeklong session at the church. Activities will include water games, singing, crafts and hearing Bible stories. The theme is “Power Lab–Discovering Jesus’ Miraculous Power,” featuring science-themed surprises.
At 7 p.m. July 18, the whole family will be invited to see what the children have done and learned throughout the week.
No reservations are necessary for the church’s Vacation Bible School; children should just arrive on Monday, July 14, at 9 a.m.
