Christian Dance Academy is performing its 22nd Annual Spirit of Christmas show with a cast of 100 dancers, including residents of Maricopa, on Dec. 17 and 20.

Maricopa residents Brittni Gonzalez and Karly Kalstrom will be part of this year’s Broadway-style musical and dance performances, featuring jazz, tap, ballroom, pointe and musical theatre. The cast of over 100 dancers ranges in age from three to 25. Also featured will be nationally recognized guest singers, performers and choreographers.

“Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” an original Rockette number, will be one of the highlights of the production, as well as a thrilling Russian acrobatic number and a rousing Irish tap number, and more.

Performances will be Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Mesa Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 20, at both 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at ASU’s Gammage Auditorium.

Tickets, which range from $22 to $30 are available at the Mesa Arts Center, Gammage Auditorium or through TicketMaster. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Child Crisis Center in Mesa.
