The Maricopa Golf Classic Committee presented checks Friday to the Wounded Warrior Project and the 100 Club – each for $2,000.

The donations came from the Maricopa Golf Classic’s annual tournament April 21 at Duke Golf Course.

Aaron Miranda was on hand from the Wounded Warrior Project, as well as Nicole Neter with the 100 Club.

These were the largest amounts we ever wrote checks for,” said Marty Hermanson, chairman of the Maricopa Golf Classic. “Being able to give the Wounded Warrior Project and the 100 Club $2,000 each was an enormous honor.”

This was the third year working with the 100 Club, and the first for the Wounded Warrior Project.
