The city of Maricopa is taking registrations for swim lesson assessments, according to a city press release.
The assessment is recommended, but not required for enrolling children in classes.
“We encourage people to take part in the assessment before registering for the swim lesson to ensure the correct level for the individual,” as stated in the release. “In the case of withdrawal or transfer of activities, there is a $5 fee.”
There is no charge for a swim assessment. Registration can be accessed online at the
