Maricopa High School football

Maricopa High School will host its first football game of the season on Thursday night with limited spectator capacity in the stadium.

But that doesn’t mean fans will not be able to watch the action.

The Rams will take on Willow Canyon, with kickoff at 7 p.m.

With the ongoing pandemic, the stadium is closed to the general public.

Only two spectators per player on each team will be admitted. They will be provided with a ticket that is required for entry to the game, including children of all ages. Admission will be charged (cash only).

Faculty and other district employees can attend the game but may not bring guests.

Anyone admitted to the stadium is required to follow health guidelines, including social distancing in established areas and the wearing of face coverings. They are also encouraged to stay seated in the stands unless using the restroom or visiting the concession stand.

For those who cannot watch the game in person, the contest will be live-streamed.

Fans can subscribe to the JV Sports Show YouTube page and watch the game for free. The livestream will go live at 6:30 p.m. with a pregame show.

The game will replay on Cox YurView Channel 4 Phx/7 Tucson on Saturday at 10 a.m. There will also be a postgame wrap-up on the JV Sports Show Radio Show from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday on 1060AM KDUS.
