Maricopa Police does not yet provide its blotter electronically, but it is available daily for public inspection during regular business hours.
Here are a few of the highlights:
COUNTERFIET BILL
Someone reported at 12:49 p.m. Friday that a counterfeit bill was passed near the 17000 block of North John Wayne Parkway.
VANDALISM
A man reported at 4:11 p.m. Friday that someone attempted to break into his car near the 4100o block of West Hayden Drive.
WELFARE CHECK
A woman called from San Antonio at 6:23 p.m. Friday to check on the status of her kids who live with her husband in Maricopa. The women reported that she hadn’t heard from her kids for two weeks.
SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR
Someone reported at 7:35 p.m. Friday seeing a man with a gun near Mama T’s.
SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR
Someone reported at 11:07 p.m. Friday seeing someone in her neighbor’s back yard near the 42000 block of West Desert Fairways Drive. The reporting person said that her neighbor was on vacation.
PROPERTY CASING
A woman reported at 1:17 a.m. Saturday that someone was in her backyard near the 12000 block of North Brewer. The reporting party said she believed the person was casing the property.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION
Someone reported at 1:31 a.m. Saturday that a white man was dancing in the street near the 20000 block of North Santa Cruz Drive.
ASSAULT
A woman reported at 5:36 a.m. Saturday that she was beaten up near the 42000 block of West Anne Lane.
THEFT
Someone reported at 2:41 p.m. Saturday that a vehicle was broken into near the 36000 block of West El Greco Street and took the stereo.
MISSING PERSON
A woman reported at 6:54 p.m. Saturday that her 14-year-old brother jumped from the car as she was driving them home. The woman reported that she thinks the boy might have broken his hand.
