Maricopa orchestra and violin instructor Adam Poland is the newest member of Chandler Symphony Orchestra.

“We are incredibly proud of Adam and all his accomplishments and honored he is one of our instructors,” said Julie Stanfill, owner of Xpressions Center for the Arts.

Poland, a Maricopa High School graduate, has participated in several orchestras throughout Arizona both playing in them and as an instructor.

He first learned how to play violin in an after-school program and then in high school taught himself how to play viola, cello and bass. He was awarded the National School Orchestra Award his senior year.

Poland has been the assistant orchestra director at Sequoia Pathway Academy since it started and will be playing with the Chandler Symphony Orchestra this coming season.
