For the third time in the contest’s six-year history, Rich and Linda Huggins won the city’s Mysterious Mansion Mayhem contest.
This time, they did it decking out their Desert Cedars home out with a skeleton garage rock band, some dead pirates still lording over booty, and giant, step-activated tarantulas.
Second place was awarded to Pete and Jennifer Steckenrider in Rancho El Dorado and third place went to The Villages at Rancho El Dorado resident Dee Evans.
A record 27 households entered the contest.
