Maricopa residents who are big fans of buffalo wings and a good beer don’t have to worry – the Native New Yorker is not closing.
There have been rumors that the restaurant on John Wayne Parkway near Smith-Enke Road is closing, but that’s not true, said owner Pat Kieny.
“Everything is going well,” he said. “We’re not going to close.”
Kieny said he heard a few people talking about the Native New Yorker closing, but he didn’t know how the rumors started.
The Native New Yorker opened in July 2005.
