One lucky winner will become a millionaire at Harrah’s Ak-Chin on Dec. 28

Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino & Resort Hotel will be making one lucky guest a millionaire on Dec. 28 at 8 p.m. in the Oasis Lounge.

Customers have been earning entries since Oct. 31. Each Friday, Saturday and Sunday, semi-finalists have been selected in random drawings to be entered into the Final Drawing for the $1 million. Customers could win up to four finalist spots from Oct. 31 through Dec. 28. Each semi-finalist won $250 on the day their name was drawn and will receive another $250 Dec. 28 at the finale.

And on Dec. 27 guests will earn 14x entries in celebration of Harrah’s Ak-Chin’s 14th Anniversary.

The hundreds of finalists will be narrowed down to 10 on Dec. 28, when finalists will appear on the Oasis stage and choose their destiny. An additional $85,000 in finale day prizes will be awarded to the 10 finalists. Each will make his or her own blind selection from the following prizes:
· 1 million Total Rewards credits
· $5,000
· $10,000
· $25,000
· $1 million
The event is free and open to the public.

“No other casino in Arizona has given away prize money of $1 million to one lucky winner,” says Geoff Andres, Vice President and General Manager, Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino and Resort Hotel. “We’re very excited about the tremendous customer enthusiasm behind this promotion, and our guests have really enjoyed earning entries. We have quite a few semi-finalists selected, and they are counting the days until December 28th.”

In addition to the Ak-Chin Millionaire winner that will be drawn on December 28th, Harrah’s Ak-Chin has had two of its customers qualify for companywide Millionaire Maker events in Atlantic City and New Orleans. In November, 2007 Alma Grzebinski won $1 million the 14th Annual Millionaire Maker Slot Tournament in Harrah’s New Orleans, and in March, 2008, Marlyn Dodge won $1 million in the 4th Annual Video Poker Millionaire Maker Harrah’s Atlantic City.
