Orthodontist reaches final four in national contest

A Maricopa orthodontist might add a prestigious title to his collection this month.

Dr. Dustin Coles, owner of Premier Orthodontics, is one of four finalists and will find out this month if he’s chosen as the top Invisalign dentist in the country, an award given annually to the doctor who presents the “most challenging case” at the company’s Nov. 13-15 convention in Las Vegas. Coles was selected as the southwest regional winner.

Invisalign is an alternative to wire braces that uses transparent incremental aligners to adjust teeth.

“The results that were achieved on this particular patient were pretty remarkable and surprised even me,” said Coles, whose office is at 21083 N. John Wayne Parkway. “I have been an advocate of Invisalign for many years and have routinely treated difficult and challenging orthodontic problems with this product.”

Coles said he uses Invisalign with patients who have been discouraged in the past about their smile.

“It's rewarding to know that others have recognized this success, and to be further recognized by the profession,” he said. “It has been great for me personally to know that the service and treatment we provide is world class.

“We take great pride in treating difficult cases to a great result. Professionally, it has also been great to show the results to my peers and get their rave reviews of our treatment successes.”

The product has helped Premier Ortodontics grow as the only full-time orthodontic practice in Maricopa.

“We love to give back to the community that supports us,” Coles said.  “Outstanding results and customer service is our top priority. We want to keep Maricopa smiling.”
