The Pinal County Regional DUI Task Force will be deploying this Memorial Day to stop and arrest alcohol and drug-impaired drivers on Pinal County roadways that have historically seen a high frequency of impaired drivers on this holiday.

The saturation patrol will focus on Highway 88, in the northern section of Pinal County on Monday afternoon and evening.

“This weekend we continue our high-visibility, zero- tolerance DUI enforcement efforts to keep Pinal families safe.” said Sheriff Paul Babeu. “With the Memorial Day holiday and graduation celebrations upon us, we want to everyone to know that if you choose to drive impaired, you are putting yourself and everyone around you at risk. There are no warnings or chance to park your car and get a ride. If you're driving impaired, you shall be arrested, tow your car and face thousands in fines and court costs."

The Pinal County Regional D.U.I. Task Force is supported by funding from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
