Pink Ribbon Tour stops in Maricopa

The Maricopa Fire Department is honored to host the “Guardians of the Ribbon” as the Pink Ribbon Tour makes a stop at fire Station 571 in Maricopa on Friday.

The Pink Ribbon Tour is an outstanding group of firefighters, police officers and community leaders who volunteer their time to drive across the county in bright pink fire apparatus to raise money and awareness for “the fight against cancer for the women of this country.”

The public is invited to see a static display of pink fire trucks and firefighters wearing pink turnouts in an effort to raise awareness for cancer affecting woman. Members of the Maricopa Fire Department will also be wearing pink uniform shirts in support of the Pink Ribbon Tour.
