Police: Legacy school bomb threat was bogus

Maricopa Police Department investigated a bomb threat at Legacy Traditional School late this morning, but determined it was unfounded.

A student told school officials he placed a bomb on the Porter Road campus, police spokesman Quinn Konold said.

“The student was detained, and the threat was investigated,” Konold said. “The threat was found not to be credible.”
