Poll: Baseball not a hit with readers

Many InMaricopa.com readers aren’t big fans of America’s favorite pastime.

In our weekly poll, we asked readers: Do you still watch the World Series when your favorite isn’t playing?

Most of the respondents – 80 out of 232 – chose the answer option: “I don’t watch baseball.”

The Boston Red Sox won this year’s series Wednesday after defeating the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 6.

Fifty-eight poll takers responded “Yes,” 59 said “No” and 35 chose the option “Depends on the teams.”
