Poll: Most readers address their mental health

186

Highlighting mental health is a must. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a campaign to raise awareness and promote understanding of mental health issues.

In last week’s unscientific, multiple-choice poll, we asked readers their preferred method of addressing their mental health.

More than two-thirds of voters (68%) said they address their mental health. Of the 128 total votes cast, 21% exercise regularly, 13% talk to a mental health professional, 11% keep in touch with loved ones and 24% use other methods to address their mental health. The remaining 32% of voters said they don’t address their mental health.
